Such a clever design. I've been dreaming for years about finding two shelves to surround our TV, but I needed an adjustable height that could accommodate our tall speakers. This is perfect. I was even able to do one pole to the ceiling and one 10 inches shorter to reach up to an exposed ceiling beam.It was fairly easy to put together. The top pole and cap are a little tricky to extend then twist to lock into place. But it's a great plus that once it's in place, you can turn the base to tighten the posts into the tension spring (I used a level before tightening). I was nervous about this holding books, but the side adjustment knobs hold the shelves super tightly.

One piece of the top portion is missing, I’ve tried to contact the seller and have heard nothing back. This is the second one I’ve bought, they work pretty well. hoping to get that piece mailed to me.
I would but this shelf again. It’s perfect for shelving in my camper. Adjusts perfectly to fit on my kitchen counter for storage. During the off season I use it in my guest bathroom and we love that too. Really easy to use and good quality.
I needed something over the toilet and this is perfect and easy to put together.
